The Port, Waterfront Cebu

Situated near the casino entrance, The Port Restaurant is just a few steps away from the spacious parking lot of Waterfront hotel. Offering a relaxed atmosphere with courteous servers, catchy music and fresh food, this casual restaurant is flocked by guests for its buffet meals at an affordable price. For added convenience, visitors can park their vehicles or hail waiting taxis just outside the premises.

We were seated by the window by a polite crew, the moment we arrived at the restaurant. We noticed that they were all fitted with a Hawaiian themed uniform while the boom box played old songs from the 80s and 90s. The main course is a variety of seafood, meat, poultry and vegetables. I started with a light salad, some crab meat soup, deep fried chicken and a plate of oysters. I had a slice of pizza, some onion rings and other vegetables like pinakbet. The overall ambiance was good paired with the establishment's tunes. Food was so-so. Nothing exceptional and worth remembering.

A: 1.5/5; 1 for the music, .5 for the ambience.
