Max's

The new Max's Fried Chicken has a refreshing feel to it after its renovation as well as relocation. It seems to me that it has undergone an image change to attract customers, young and old alike. Of course, after 30 or so years in operation here in the Philippines, they haven't changed a lot.

We came here for dinner a few weeks ago when a local singer had an event at the mall. We ordered a few of their house specials, namely, Crispy Pata, Kare-Kare and palabok.

Their Kare-Kare was sweet as well as the shrimp paste that comes with it. The pancit palabok as well as the crab meat fried rice platter that they had was OK. The deep fried pork leg was on the borderline of being burnt dry and burnt just right. For desserts, we had a serving of Leche Flan. I hate to say this, but this was probably the best order for me.

I can't wait for their "Chicken all you can" Promo~!
